Hello

I agree with what you say here, except one thing.

People who advocate the keeping of the law of Moses, are trying to be justified by the law, which they can’t keep. Therefore, they are fallen from grace, according to the Scriptures.

The messianic people i knew did not try to be justified by keeping torah, au contraire.
They always said, we can t be saved by the law, but because we are saved by grace we are obedient.
Out of love, not out of obligation.

So yes they try to keep torah, but not to be justified.

Holy Cow, God Bless all of you and http://www.seekgod.ca. The Lord showed me some crazy stuff about two years ago regarding all of this merge between Judaism and Christianity. Unfortunately, I can not say I am as brave as you all are. This is an amazingly inflammatory topic. Unbelievable!! Even Christians who are not yet in HR movement have such a huge RESISTANCE to anything “negative” (even when it is true and biblically supported) about the Jewish religion or about Jewish people, who they feel is a race and not a religion. Truly a mess of monumental proportions. I have nearly been stoned to death because of this topic.

I will definitely pray for all of you!

The mikveh is part of Judaism, it is not Jewish “baptism”. I am not against Judaism’s practices, what I try to do is show Messianics is that what they practice and how they observe the Law is not based on Scripture, but on a system [Rabbinical Judaism] that denies Jesus Christ and denigrates Him. Judaism rejects Christ as the Messiah, therefore; it’s traditions are outside what New Covenant believers should be practicing.

Thanx for the comments. I love music too, as long as God is glorified. Far too much “Christian” music is about us, instead of Him, so I am always on the lookout for the “good stuff”!
